NOTICE! On February 20, 2025 we added SSO (Single Sign-On) to the web portal. This currently requires all OCC employees and students to log into the web portal by authenticating from their OCC email account. If you are having trouble logging into the web portal, please read the information below first to see if it will help you through your issue.
The best recommended way for OCC employees and students to enter the web portal is to first log into your OCC email account within a desktop web browser. The method about to be mentioned will not work from a phone's web browser. If you are logging in from a phone's web browser, please see the other way mentioned in the next paragraph. When you view your OCC email account, there is a 3x3 grid of dots in the upper right corner next to the Ozark logo. Click that icon to see your list of Google Apps. Scroll to the bottom of that list and you will see an app called MyOCCedu. Click that app and you will go right into the web portal without having to submit any credentials. As a note, the other app links at the bottom of that list can get you into other OCC services, such as Canvas, without submitting credentials to log into them.
The other way for employees and students to use SSO to enter the web portal is to first go to the web portal at my.occ.edu and submit your ID number or OCC email address as the username. The web portal will detect if your record is identified as an employee or student. If so, you will be redirected to log into your OCC email account. However, if you are currently ONLY logged into one other Gmail account (not your OCC one) in that web browser, you will see the 403 Error which is referred to below. Otherwise, if you are already logged into only your OCC email in that web browser you will be taken right into the web portal. If you are already logged into more than one Gmail account in that web browser, then Google should give you the opportunity to choose which account you want to use for the SSO login. Make sure it is your OCC account you choose.
403 Error
If you get this error as an OCC employee or student, it probably means you are ONLY logged into a Gmail address (within the current web browser) that is not an OCC email account. Try logging in through the best recommended way as described above. Or you made need to clear the cache memory for your web browser before it will work.
Still can not log in?
If you still can not log into the site, please email [email protected] to create a Help Desk ticket. Please describe what you are using to get into the site such as the web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and the type (desktop web browser or phone web browser).
